**Because we only use essential oils and not synthetic fragrance, you might notice a slight fragrance variation from batch to batch. This is because the essential oils are made from plants and each growing season there are changes due to weather, moisture and sun.

What SPF is LipJao?
Our LipJao is not formally SPF rated. We did, however, have it tested and our rating is SPF-8. Since our focus as a company is to make natural products, we did not want to make a chemical sunscreen. Instead, we reformulated our LipJao to include 34% Shea Butter as well as Meadowfoam Seed Oil which both have natural sunscreen properties. We also did not want to make a pure white lip balm so added just 4% Zinc Oxide which IS, in fact, sunscreen.
